More new handmade products from Malosey!

Malosey has been hard at work creating some new merchandise for the Maribyrnong Makers Market in Seddon on the 17th March
Here's a sneak preview!

This very cute 1m X 1m quilt is a perfect baby gift. It's a great size to wrap baby in or use on the floor as a baby rug. It can also be embroidered with baby's name. The cute colourful pattern is perfect for a boy or girl and is also a nice size for a lap quilt.

NEW RANGE!

These cute mugs are a new range of hand decorated giftware for Malosey.
They come in a variety of designs for dog lovers, gardeners and sewing fanatics alike.

This 'Life's a Garden DIG IT' mug comes with it's own little plant and kangaroo pot decoration for any budding gardener. The succulent plant is very hardy so even the most lethal gardener will enjoy watching it grow. These items come gift wrapped with cellophane and ribbon.

Work in progress

I am working on this new quilt for the MMM market (see above for a link) I am using yet another design and a pile of new fabrics. It's so exciting watching all the pieces come together and using so many different fabrics always seems to work out fantastic. I don't think I could ever stop quilting!

Happy New Year Malosey Fans!

It's an exciting new year and Malosey is back with all of the old favourite products and in addition there are some new items which I will post on the blog and the website in the coming weeks.

Beautiful Patchtastic gifts available from Malosey this year. For details contact malosey@gmail.com.

These beautiful patchwork quilts made in the Malosey style with more than 25 different coloured and patterned fabrics are not only a practical winter warmer but an all year round eye-catching decorative enhancement for any room in your house.
Every patchwork quilt made by Malosey is unique. I make each quilt one at a time and it's a real labour of love, using a wide variety of hand picked fabrics, mixing and matching the colours and patterns instinctively to create a balanced composition.
The quilting stitch is done by hand and kept simple so as not to detract from the wonderfully busy pattern. Personalised embroidery is also available on these quilts to make the perfect wedding, birthday or special occasion gift.

A new addition to the Malosey collection is this patchwork chair and footstool. The chair has a removable and washable cover which is very practical for a children's room. The chair is very sturdy and comfortable to use and would not only be a beautiful feature in a room but a practical piece of furniture. The footstool is a cute addition to the chair or can be purchased separately.

It's a.....Baby!
I have had many requests for baby gifts recently, so I designed a new product for the Malosey collection. If you are looking for a handmade original gift for the arrival of a new baby why not pick up one of these cute puppy-dog baby rattles. They are handmade and baby safe. The eyes and nose are made from felt and hand stitched securely for baby's safety. These brightly coloured, flopsy eared rattles are sure to be a hit with the new bub.

Pin Cushions. A useful gift and practical item for anyone who loves to sew. These mouse pin cushions are so cute that you may feel guilty sticking pins in them!
